Calculating a Home's Value
During the appraisal inspection, we look for how well maintained the home is, including upgrades or new components. Is there a pool, guesthouse, or workshop? We use these factors to compare the home to other homes that have recently sold nearby.
The Appraisal Process
Once the appraisal has been ordered, we set up a date for the appraisal inspection. During the inspection, we measure the exterior, complete an interior floorplan, and take photographs. Once the inspection is complete, we research sales similar to your home and then provide an opinion of value.
